Fly me to the moon...
I've been watching this for the past week on my sparse off time. By "this" I mean the whole fucking series, I watched it in it's entirety in one calendar week, including the two films.
The original series is 26 episodes long...
And for 24 of those 26 episodes, it's the most gripping narrative I've ever seen. Leap years ahead of any anime series I've ever seen anyway. And then I got to episode 25...
...
It went completely limp. It's really a shame too, because out of all of Evangelion's merits, character development was the most exemplary. Why write such believable characters? Why allow me to come to care about them when you're just gonna abandon all the scenarios I watched develop for the last two dozen episodes?
Why?
